The Reason for Referral Marketing…
There are basically 3 different consumer markets in business. There are many niche markets, and this is a broad stroke, but there are three main, distinctly different markets, and 3 “value propositions” in the marketplace. Three “levels” that people buy at if you will.
Although we could use different products or services to illustrate, such as hotels, restaurants, etc.
Let me illustrate by using the automobile…
The three markets are:
- The KIA Market. A KIA is a very low priced car.
- The Saturn Market. A Saturn is a middle of the road, “value” purchase.
- The Mercedes Market. And of course the Mercedes is the high end market.
Keep in mind that when I speak of these target markets that I am not talking about how much money they make, or what kind of house they live in.
A huge mistake that is made in marketing is targeting high end homes assuming they have a Mercedes attitude.
They may have 3 Mercedes in the driveway, but they may have a KIA attitude toward their carpet!!!
Everyone has different “value systems”. Everyone pays the highest price for something. And regardless of how much a person makes, many of them pay the lowest price for something. The key is to find the market that values your product at the same value you have placed on it.
So, the Mercedes Market has a “Mercedes” Value System.

Top 10 Reasons Referral Marketing is So Effective
Reason #1: The Network is completely unlimited. Compare that to advertising. To continue to generate income from advertising, you have to keep advertising! With referral marketing, you it continues to work and there is no limit to the growth potential! The referral source refers a Mercedes Client (MC).
If you have a strong referral program, the Mercedes Client refers you to their friends, and this process happens over and over. But it only happens if you have a strong referral marketing SYSTEM!
