If you match the price, your profit goes down to $60. That’s a 40% drop! Remember that when you lower your price, your cost doesn’t go down, so you are just giving money away when you lower your price. Lowering your price does NOT guarantee that you will get more customers!!! In fact, if you are viewed as “cheap”, you aren’t going to get many high end clients. Sure, you will get a few people that have money, but not those who will pay you the highest price.
